All we have scheduled today is an easy double distance run w/ strides. We’ll run twice today, but the goal is to just get in two shorter runs.
Today is just about preparing for our workout tomorrow. Typically we do a speed maintenance session on Friday, but that’s usually followed up with a long run.
Because we have an interval session on Saturday we’ll just do a lighter day of an easy run w/ some strides.
Over this last month of the season we’ll use Saturdays for racing or a quality session…we are done with true long runs…thus Friday will be used for more of a pre-race routine.
Nice and easy and preparing for Day #4.
