GTTC Elite team member Julia Pieper finished her LONG season last night in Germany with a 3000 meter season’s best time of 10:06. This performance just missed her personal best by 1-second, but was 6 seconds faster than she ran earlier in the year.
It’s been a great year for Julia with several highlights, including winning the 5000 meters at the NCCAA Championships and helping her team win the Heartland Conference Cross Country Championships and advance to the NCAA National Championships!
Now it’s time for a break as she’s been running strong and hard for well over a year!
I believe there are a lot more fast races in Julia’s future and am excited to see what the future holds for this hard-working runner!
