I’m sorry to inform you that a perfect 3 month training segment does not guarantee a perfect Marathon. A larger variable is what your previous 2 years look like.

Look, the day to day training is important, for sure…but Lydiard would always say that you were training, to do the training, to do the training…
Have confidence in ALL of the work you’ve put in…not just the segment that was just completed.
