2020 US Olympic Marathon Trials Project — Julia Pieper

Today I have the pleasure of introducing Julia Pieper as part of our 2020 US Olympic Marathon Trials Project…and Julia is certainly a unique member of our project as she is not eligible for the 2020 US Olympic Trials since she has German citizenship. But, as one of my elite level athletes and a member of this running community who is looking to continuing chasing her dreams, I felt that it was important for her to continue being a member of a community that is chasing greatness!

Yesterday we reported on Julia setting a personal best over 10,000 meters at the German Road Championships and next month she’ll be racing a half marathon. Over the next couple of years Julia will be stepping up to the longer distances and I believe she’ll be a great fit there on the roads!
