This morning was ONE OF THOSE MORNINGS…you know the morning…you don’t want to wake up, the bed is too comfy for the cold outside, you are sore from your last workout…EVERYTHING that could have kept me from running this morning TRIED to keep me from running this morning.
Thankfully, I ran. And let me tell you, for the first half of my run, I was wondering if I had made the right decision to get out of the bed. But after I hit half way and turned back my legs seemed to wake up, my spirits rose, and I felt good coming home.
And now, I don’t have to worry about getting in my run later in the day, or feeling the regret of skipping a run, etc.
I know that there will be mornings (and several of them) where you just don’t want to get up and get out the door; BUT YOU HAVE TO. If you are healthy and able, YOU HAVE TO GET OUT AND GET IN THE RUN. Trust me, you don’t want to worry about getting it in later and you don’t want to deal with the regret of a skipped opportunity.
We’re MOVING in 2018 and that means getting up and out the door even when you don’t feel like it!
