Workout of the Day — Kelsey Bruce

Kelsey Bruce — November 2015

6 x 1 mi @ 5:44, 5:40, 5:36, 5:32, 5:28, 5:24 w/ 2 min rest

This was Kelsey’s first session as a post-collegiate runner all the way back in 2015 and was just 10 days after finishing 4th at the NCAA Cross Country Championships and about two weeks before her post-collegiate debut!

There’s nothing special about this session, but it was the FIRST and you never get that again! She went on to run 1:13:57 for the half marathon about two weeks after this session which qualified her for her first Olympic Trials Marathon!

It’s always fun to look back over what we’ve done in the past to help guide what we might be doing in the future!
