I was thinking about workouts and how when we see just one session it can lead someone to think that the one session is what they need to be successful. But, that isn’t really the case. It usually takes a lot of work just to get to the one session that I post on here as the workout of the day.
So, with that in mind, I wanted to share what my two highest mileage guys did during their winter base preparation period…this was a week before their peak mileage week…they were to run ~100 miles on this week, with the following week going to be closer to ~110 miles.
Both of these guys are training to make a return trip to the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships and both guys set some pretty high goals for the season.
Trent Phelps and Stetson Rayas. This week is taken from January, 2019.
