4 miles tempo + 10 miles steady + 4 miles tempo

Recovery: Changing shoes between each segment. 

Splits: 20:50, 1:00:43, 20:13

As you read yesterday…Matt Galvin is making his marathon debut on Sunday at the BMW Dallas Marathon and it was this session that showed me that HE IS READY.

This is a session that I assign almost every marathon build up and it’s one that tests your ability to be engaged for a long period of time and to run hard when you are fatigued…THAT’S THE MARATHON.

And Matt’s ready for it.
