Best advice I can give today.

He tweeted this out a few days ago and I had to retweet, like, and add emphatic YES comments to it…

No runner missed her goal from taking an extra day of recovery now and then, but many missed the goal because they didn’t rest enough and got injured.

Amen. Yes. Yes. Yes.

Do not follow a calendar or schedule just for the sake of following the calendar or schedule. Let your body guide you…and don’t panic about a missed day here or there…you might have needed the rest and it could end up being a blessing in disguise!
