I know, I’ve used Mark Wetmore a lot lately…but it’s that time of the year again when I am prepping for the upcoming XC season and doing all I can to be on my ‘A’ game…and that includes reading Running with the Buffaloes. This book usually gets me in the right mindset for the season and even though I’ve read this book now every summer since 2004 (15 consecutive years) I still take something new away from it each time.
Today’s quote is very simple and probably missed by most who read the book…but it’s one of the reasons I believe that he is the best XC coach in the country. People who excel at things take those things seriously.
