This was Julia’s final workout in America; she came over as a graduate student to Dallas Baptist University and had two very fine years for us in Cross Country and Track. Her university running career was highlighted by an Individual Conference Championship in Cross Country in 2016, by being a member of the 2017 group that qualified for the NCAA National Championships, and by winning the 2018 NCCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships 5000 meters.

A major goal that we’ve had on our minds the past two years was qualification for the German National Championships 5000 meters. With Julia’s university career over, she can now turn her focus solely on that goal.

This workout is another in a string of successful sessions that Julia has been having late this spring into the summer and comes just 10 days before her first German race; a 1500 meter bout in Pfunstadt.
